Infroton Fusion Inc. is a US-registered clean energy startup, based in Darien, Connecticut with a parallel European entity, Infroton Fusion Hungary Kft, and with its principal research and development activities conducted at the Wigner Research Centre for Physics in Budapest.

The company seeks to develop a generation of compact, containerized fusion power plants intended for mass production and global deployment. The company’s founding premise is that fusion energy can be made modular, manufacturable, and economically self-sustaining at a relatively small scale, producing 35 megawatts of electrical output per unit at a target generation cost of $6.5 per megawatt-hour, using deuterium fuel.
