TAE closes $280m Series G financing round

TAE Technologies has successfully completed a $250 million Series G-2 financing round with investors such as Chevron, Google, Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, and others. The funds will facilitate the construction of the Copernicus research reactor to demonstrate net energy generation. The company aims to deploy fusion-derived technologies in the Asia-Pacific with Sumitomo's partnership.
