Commonwealth Fusion Systems to benefit from $1.47m in INFUSE grants

Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) has secured three grants totaling $1.47 million from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Fusion Energy Science’s INFUSE program. The grants, awarded in collaboration with U.S. National Labs, will fund research crucial for commercial fusion energy development, including tritium accountancy, 3D field physics, and advanced manufacturing workflows.
