Commonwealth Fusion Systems closes $1.8bn Series B

Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) has secured over $1.8bn in its Series B round, led by Tiger Global Management and backed by notable investors. The funds will support the development of SPARC, aiming to be the world's first net-energy fusion machine, and pave the way for the commercial fusion power plant, ARC. Investors are confident in fusion as a large-scale decarbonization solution.
