Kyoto Fusioneering has secured a ¥1.33bn ($11.7m) in an oversubscribed Series B funding round, bringing their total raised amount to ¥1.67 bn ($14.7m). Existing investor Coral Capital Co. was joined by five new investors. Additionally, the company arranged unsecured loan agreements totaling ¥800 million (US$7m) from three major banks. The funds will be used to accelerate research and expand global business development.
