The UKAEA has awarded £6.8m in contracts to seven organizations, supporting digital engineering and fusion fuel requirements. These contracts, part of the Fusion Industry Programme, aim to bring technologies to ‘proof of concept’ stage. Recipients include start-ups, SMEs, established companies, and academia, focusing on various aspects of fusion technology.
