Proxima Fusion, a German startup, secured €7mn in a pre-seed round jointly led by Plural Platform and UVC Partners, with support from HTGF and the Wilbe Group. The company spun out of the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, known for the advanced Wendelstein 7-X stellarator.
