OpenStar Technologies has successfully closed its Seed Round, raising NZ$10 million (US$6.2m) from mainly New Zealand investors. Outset Ventures and other key players led the funding round. The company plans to utilize the raised funds over 18 months to develop and deploy its prototype 'levitated dipole' fusion reactor.
