What we do
For fusion
FusionX exists to facilitate the sustained and efficient allocation of capital to fusion. We aim to do this primarily by connecting capital providers – financial investors, strategic investors and others – with opportunities in fusion energy and its related technologies.
FusionX does this by educating investors in order to expand the pool of willing capital providers, and by connecting them with fusion and fusion supply chain companies.
For fusion companies
New funds are emerging focused on what were previously niche sectors. Managers are finessing broader strategies to embrace climate, deep-tech or decarbonisation. Strategic investors are increasingly aware of the potential of fusion for business development, decarbonisation, and/or diversification. The universe of investors is expanding.
FusionX aids fusion companies to understand this rapidly evolving landscape, helping them effectively to target their partnership and capital-raising efforts.
For funds & investors
For investors of all types, fusion is a sector of enormous potential upside but huge complexity. FusionX enables them to track the progress of all fusion companies, and the leading supply-chain or spin-out technologies, against their engineering, commercial and financing milestones.
For funds, the universe of LPs seeking exposure to fusion energy and its associated technologies is growing. FusionX data shows who they are. Many are names without previous commitments, and increasingly outside Europe and North America.
For advisers & suppliers
Fusion is a sector of enormous commercial potential but huge and complex needs for all of financial, legal and commercial advice, specialist engineering and other inputs. FusionX enables advisers and suppliers to track the progress of all fusion companies and to anticipate their engineering, materials, commercial and financing needs.
How we do it
Distilled information
FusionX gathers, distills, normalises and curates information on capital flows, capital needs, existing and potential capital providers. It shares this information on the FusionX platform.
Through that platform and its highly respected series of FusionxInvest meetings, FusionX seeks to educate the full spectrum of the global investment community – from PE/VC, through specialist tech or climate funds, to mainstream GPs, and a broad range of strategic investors – and to connect those investors with fusion companies, their technologies and supply chains.
