Xeonova – more formally referred to as Hefei Xingneng Xuanguang Technology Co., Ltd. or, in Chinese, 合肥星能玄光科技有限责任公司 – was founded in March 2024 by University of Science and Technology of China professor Sun Xuan.
Xeonova seeks to build on a “advanced field-reversed mirror (FRM)” pathway Sun developed in 2013 and has continued refining and validating since.
