LiSTie Corporation

LiSTie Corporation – founded in July 2023 and located in Aomori, Japan, with additional operations in Kashiwanoha, Chiba – is commercializing breakthrough lithium extraction technology developed at Japan’s National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology.

LiSTie has received substantial government funding supports the development of innovative LiSMIC technology to enable stable domestic procurement of lithium, aligning with Japan’s national strategy for fusion acceleration and energy security. In March, 2025, the company benefited from an IP-for-equity investment from QST that involved QST acquiring ordinary shares from LiSTIe in exchange for licensing intellectual property related to lithium recovery technology.
