Deutelio, founded in 2022 and based in Grono, Switzerland, focuses on a magnetic confinement mechanism called the Polomac model. The Polomac model involves poloidal magnetic confinement of plasma, differentiating it from the more common toroidal tokamak and stellarator approach.

Deutelio is developing a prototype to validate the Polomac model and plans to build a heat generator and, ultimately, a fusion reactor for electrical generation.
