Xcimer Energy Inc. – founded in 2021 and based in Denver, CO – is developing a laser inertial confinement fusion system leveraging advancements in excimer laser technology. The company aims to build a high-energy Krypton Fluoride (KrF) laser system capable of delivering tens of megajoules of energy to inertial fusion targets, enhancing efficiency and plant lifetime.  

Xcimer’s goal is to commercialize laser fusion for energy generation and to apply its high-power laser platform to air-defense and national-security uses.
