DANTE Fusion

Founded: 2024

DANTE Fusion –  based in Copenhagen, Denmark –  is a deep-technology startup founded with the mission of building the world’s first commercial fusion-based neutron source. The company positions itself at the intersection of two distinct but complementary markets: fusion materials qualification and medical isotope production,  both of which depend critically on access to high-energy neutrons.

DANTE Fusion’s partner network spans academic institutions and industrial organisations including DTU, the Hevesy Laboratory (DTU Health Tech), Next Step Fusion, FEInn, SUBRA A/S, Universdad de Sevilla, and Università degli Studi della Tuscia. The company received initial funding including a grant from Copernicus Incubation and completed its conceptual design phase in 2025.
