ASPL Fusion, legally registered as Agnira Sanlayan Pvt Ltd and with operations anchored in Gandhinagar, Gujarat and New Delhi, is seeking to commercialize applied plasma and neutron technologies, with fusion-class energy a longer-term objective.

The company was co-founded by nuclear fusion scientist Professor Prabhat Ranjan, and entrepreneurs Abhay K. Jha and Abhinav Jha. ASPL Fusion is the successor to “Project Sanlayan,” a previous fusion initiative by Professor Ranjan that was halted in 2022 due to a lack of funding.

ASPL Fusion’s approach is centered around a phased development strategy built around accelerator-based boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), industrial neutron applications and medical-isotope research. These applications are intended to develop domestic capability in neutron technologies while creating a foundation for more advanced neutron-source and fusion research.
